Getting Paid
Lesson 5 Module 2
Within USA
If you are staying in the United States, you can get paid by Amazon using your bank savings account. We will go through on how to fill in your bank details in the next section.
Outside of USA
Now, if you are like me who stays outside of the United States. There are some extra steps required for you to get paid by Amazon.
Firstly, if you do not have a bank account in the U.S, simply head over to Payoneer (link is below) to create an account.
Payoneer is a financial company that provides online money transfer and digital payments. You can manage your funds in there and withdraw any outstanding amount to your local bank account once you have been paid.

Once you have created your account, you have to submit your photo ID and answer a questionnaire for it to be approved. Usually, it will take 3-5 business days for approval.
Afterwards, head over to:
Receive >> Global Payment Service
You will see your Bank Account Details. Take note of it as you will need to key in the details in the Kindle Direct Publishing Platform later on.
Amazon will pay you 60 days after every month ends. Meaning, if you earn $1000 at the end of March. You will get paid on 31st May. This 60-days time-frame accounts for any refunds or any anomalies that were made.
Pricing Your Book
This really depends on you. But I would suggest pricing your book from $2.99 - $4.99 so you can earn more royalties.
If you stay outside of United States, there will be tax withholding for Non-US Publishers. Meaning, you can only earn up to 70% royalties as compared to people who publishes in the United States.
If you have an existing fan base and you have a HIGH QUALITY book that has lots of value and information, you can easily price it higher!
Here's a list of countries that have Tax Withholding Rate:
